AFTiFEST IMPACT / ONECHILDATAB

One child.
One tablet.
More possibility.

The OneChildATab Edutech Project is a proposed education-access programme designed to combine connected learning devices, quality digital content, educator support and accountable community delivery.

THE CHALLENGE

Talent is everywhere.
Access is not.

The project prospectus identifies poverty, weak infrastructure and limited learning resources as major barriers preventing millions of Nigerian children from accessing quality education.

Its long-term ambition is to reach one million underserved children. The operational five-year model in the 2026 deck begins more deliberately—with 2,000 tablets in year one and a 10% annual growth assumption—so progress can be funded, delivered and measured in phases.

01

Digital infrastructure

Expand access to an appropriate learning device and reliable connectivity in communities where both are limited.

02

Quality content

Provide age-appropriate educational materials aligned with national curriculum standards and practical digital learning.

03

Technology partners

Bring device providers, software platforms, connectivity organisations and social-impact partners into one delivery model.

04

Community capacity

Support educators, mentors and local delivery teams so devices become durable learning tools rather than one-off gifts.

HOW THE MODEL WORKS

A device opens the door.
A learning system keeps it open.

01FOCUS

Select communities

Use literacy, enrolment, technology-access and infrastructure data to prioritise underserved rural and remote communities.

02EQUIP

Deploy learning tools

Provide configured tablets, software licences, educational resources and the connectivity required for meaningful use.

03ENABLE

Train and engage

Run digital-skills programmes, educator support and community engagement with implementation partners.

04MEASURE

Report progress

Track distribution, participation, programme quality and learning outcomes through monitoring, evaluation and transparent reporting.

FIVE-YEAR PROJECTION

A phased path
to responsible scale.

The deck models constant 10% year-on-year growth. Actual delivery will depend on verified funding, procurement, community readiness and implementation partnerships.
