GLOBAL AI PHOTO IMPACT CONTEST / MAY - OCTOBER 2026

01 / FROM VISIBILITY TO IMPACT

One face can start
a movement.

Face of Tech is the leadership and social-impact platform within AfroFutureTech iFest. It uses ethical AI, visual storytelling, public participation and structured fellowship support to discover people ready to champion technology-driven solutions to SDG 1: No Poverty and SDG 2: Zero Hunger.

GLOBAL ISSUES

The challenge is urgent.

Poverty, food insecurity and youth unemployment demand visible advocates who can translate attention into community action.

GOALBASSADOR PROGRAMME

Leadership with a mandate.

Selected leaders become GoalBassadors - public advocates supported to tell better stories, mobilise communities and advance practical responses.

UNIFIED PLATFORM

Identity meets action.

A leadership selection platform, digital advocacy movement and pan-African deployment programme in one connected experience.

08 / QUICK ANSWERS

Before you
enter.

These answers summarise the 2026 programme prospectus. Official rules and direct confirmations take precedence.

Is Face of Tech a conventional beauty pageant?+

No. It is an AI-powered leadership, storytelling and social-impact programme. Selection considers purpose, originality, communication, leadership potential and commitment to SDG action.

Do I need a large social-media following?+

No. Applicants may be established or emerging. A credible story, clear purpose and willingness to engage responsibly matter more than follower count.

How will AI be used?+

AI may support clearly disclosed creative presentation and storytelling. It should not replace human judging, applicant consent or accountability for the selection process.

Does public voting decide every result?+

Public voting contributes to participation and the People's Choice recognition. Final programme decisions also involve eligibility checks and human judging under the official rules.

Can a company sponsor a specific award or category?+

Yes, subject to availability and conflict checks. The partnership team can shape title, category, activation, content and product-integration opportunities.
